Boris Skoro, owner and operator, began his career in technology with Tandy Corporation as a regional manager responsible for helping lead the personal computer revolution for Tandy in the Northwest. Boris’ true passion, designing and engineering network systems, led to the next logical step, starting his own business. Advanced Skoro Technology International opened for business in 1985 as an information technology firm offering computer and network engineering and solutions. What evolved from the relationships in the information technology field was electronic restoration.
In 1995, a client for whom ASTI serviced 15-18 computer systems was a victim of arson and the client wanted no one to touch the systems but ASTI. A Portland area restoration company was called on for the restoration of the project and asked us if we could clean and/or restore the computer systems. From that point on, ASTI been moving full speed ahead in technical asset recovery and continues to offer unrivaled customer service as well as technical expertise.
Technology is consistently evolving from one day to the next and that is what we are doing. ASTI now offers many options for technical asset recovery services including, electronic restoration, art restoration and data recovery.

ASTI is also expanding, opening satellite offices in Seattle, Washington and Boise, Idaho in 2010.
